Project Manager - Sales Enablement

Salesforce is looking for a Senior Analyst with program / project management experience to join our Scrum Management Office and lead one of our strategic team programs. This fun, innovative team is looking for an organized leader who can partner with a program owner, create and manage the project schedule and work across critical cross functional teams while monitoring and evaluating risk and issues. A strong applicant will see the big picture of how the components of the different workstreams align and manage the team to complete their milestones and deliverables on time.
 Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist Program Owner / Product Owner in delegating project tasks to individual contributors best positioned to complete the work
  • Assisting in the definition of project scope and goals
  • Creating long- and short-term project plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources
  • Adjusts schedules and targets on the project as needed
  • Lead and manage the change management/communications workstream for the project
  • Identifying and managing potential risks and issues and dependencies of multiple projects
  • Track and remove team's impediments. Identify the true source of obstacles and demonstrate skill overcoming difficult obstacles impacting the team. Anticipate and prevent potential obstacles before they occur
  • Track & assess team's performance towards completion using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Motivating people involved in the project to complete tasks on time
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals
  • Improve transparency within the team and broader organization
  • Communicate clearly within program / project teams and across Enablement
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders inside and outside of Sales Enablement to ensure strong cross-group collaboration

Required - Professional Experience/Skills

  • 4 year degree with strong academic performance
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • A successful track record of coaching cross-functional teams
  • Experience driving team improvements and operating excellence while sharing best practices
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to tailor a presentation to the audience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Build trusting relationships and credibility to influence and improve business outcomes
  • Strong emotional intelligence and maintains a positive attitude in difficult situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Ability to think strategically and act in a detailed, hands-on manner.
  • Change oriented. Works effectively in the face of ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid change.
