My Dublin based client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team in a contract role. The successful candidate will be working within the PMO team to support the delivery of key projects related to the business growth strategy. My client is looking for a talented individual who can quickly become productive and has the skills to plan, structure, lead and execute a mix of both IT and Business projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects;
- Deliver the projects on time, on budget and to the expected quality;
- Stakeholder management;
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables with key stakeholders;
- Identify project pre-requisites, dependencies, constraints, issues, risks and critical path and manage these proactively;
- Define project tasks and resource requirements;
- Assemble, coordinate, manage and control project resources and tasks;
- Effective communications at all levels from Executive to Team level; strong verbal and written skills required;
- Budget management, control and reporting;
- Monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders and governance bodies;
- Develop and maintain full scale project plans;
- Provide direction and support to project team;
- Quality Assurance; and
- Project Closure and Benefits Realisation review
Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years project management experience;
- Strong leadership, communication, influencing and collaboration skills;
- Experience and proven ability to manage large and complex business and IT projects;
- Experience of Project Management and Application Delivery methodologies and deep understanding of project management functions and artefacts;
- Asset Management or other Financial Services industry experience;
- Project Management certification desirable (Prince or PMP); and
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools.
