Project Directors are delivery specialists in their area of expertise. In this case the world of Business Applications and more specifically Accounting, Project Costing, Billing.

They are our most Senior leaders on Projects and will often be handling a portfolio of projects, that are complex in nature

Next to that, the Project Directors are working together with the sales teams to gain new business with prospects and existing customers. They support putting the best proposal forward for a customer, with success of the customer and our team in mind.

A very important component of the role is to develop and further improve our deployment methodology. You are doing that by giving leadership and direction to the deployment framework, support development of solution standards, with improvements to our faster time to value solutions for the Medium enterprise target market as our main priority.

You will report to the Senior Director of EMEA Professional Services.

Key objectives: Contributions to the practice, customer satisfaction and project success.

Basic Qualifications

  • Language Skills: business fluent English and German required
  • 5+ years delivering enterprise business applications projects, with a strong focus on Financials and or Project Costing and Billing.
  • Multi-national deployments experience.
  • Proficiency in business English
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (under normal circumstances)

Other Qualifications

  • Experience deploying, Finance technology solutions at a project and program manager level
  • Workday Launch deployments experience highly desirable but not essential
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Willingness to ‘roll up one’s sleeves’ and assist wherever needed
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility and follow-through
  • Enjoying an environment of constant innovation and change
  • Knowledge of multiple areas related to business software deployments, i.e. Financials, Projects, Procurement.
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-pace, collaborative environment
  • Ability to Contribute to the strategic direction of the Professional Services organisation through leading and participating on internal initiatives.
