Job Description/Primary duties

We are looking for a training Program Manager, responsible for directing security awareness, training, and communications programs. Some of the tasks you may be asked to do include:

• Manage HPE Global Security’s web-based training (WBT) portfolio, which includes general employee security awareness training and role-based courses.
• Develop the training roadmap, including new course creation, updating existing courses, and retiring legacy courses.
• Partner with subject matter experts to conduct needs assessment of training, awareness, and communications project requests.
• Design, execute, and manage the companywide simulated phishing program.
• Develop internal communications for the CSO Office.
• Create and execute communications plans for the security functions when new tools are rolled out to end users.
• Develop and manage project plans and deliverables to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope, and manage vendor relationships.
• Design and develop training courses and awareness content in-house using Office 365 tools  and eLearning authoring tools, such as Brainshark.
• Provide metrics on the effectiveness/completion rate for courses
• Communicate program successes and enhancements to executives
• Manage and/or participate in awareness initiatives, such as Security Awareness Month (commonly known as Cyber Security Month).

• Experience in instructional design or demonstration of some original work examples
• Experience in managing a training course portfolio
• Strong knowledge of adult learning best practices and strategies for driving engagement and knowledge retention, such as gamification.
• Expert-level PowerPoint user
• Strong project management skills
• Strong written communication skills and working knowledge of MLA and Chicago/AP writing style.
• Knowledge of graphic design concepts
• Security awareness professional certification, such as SSAP or CSAP.
• Project Management Certification
• Prior experience in cybersecurity or physical security
• Prior experience in employee communication or public relations.
