The labs perform research and implementation in many advanced domains such as Artificial Intelligence (AI)/ Machine Learning (ML), Blockchain, etc.
The Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence (AI CoE) is part of the Innovation Labs Network, focusing on AI in a way that helps Citi to innovate responsibly. The purpose of the AI CoE is to set Citi-wide standards and policies for AI and develop best practices. The AI CoE ensures that we considers the impact of AI on our strategy, further building upon Citi's pioneering work in AI governance as one of the first private sector companies to develop our own set of ethical principles for AI and machine learning. The AI CoE enables Citi to harness the power of these technologies, enhance our internal processes and further strengthen our risk and controls functions.
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with a particular interest in Innovation and in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing the overall delivery of all projects associated with the AI CoE. Specifically,
Responsibilities:
- Manages variety of high impact projects for the AI CoE through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
- Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program/ portfolio of projects for the AI CoE.
- Ensures all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand the program schedule and key milestones.
- Oversees all program plans meet technical/ business needs as described by the various AI CoE stakeholders.
- Ensures all areas of the program are appropriately staffed. Monitor program commitment from those assigning resources.
- Creates the program risk management plan and escalates program risks to the head of the AI CoE when appropriate.
- Manages Corrective Action Plan (CAP) schedules and changes to CAPs and milestones (when needed). Ensures that all milestones associated with the AI CoE are delivered on time.
- Serve as “CAP Editor” who owns the process of managing CAP-related information in Citi systems.
- Holds regular meetings with CAP coordinators from other functions who are managing AI CoE-related CAPs. Answer any ‘technical’ questions regarding the management of the CAPs and ensure that the CAPs are managed in a consistent manner.
- Manages Internal Audit, ICRM, internal regulatory communication (all from a project management perspective).
- Supports and manages all the AI CoE’s reporting requirements for the regulators and other Citi functions.
- Serves as advisor or coach to junior project managers in the Innovations Lab network.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5+ Technology and Operations Program Management Experience (Innovation and/or Artificial Intelligence-related project management experience preferred).
- Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to persuade and influence others; may negotiate with external parties.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- CAPM, PMP, PgMP and/or MBA are a plus.
- High level understanding of Financial products a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
