Netwatch are currently recruiting for a Product Owner to join the R&D team. Working as part of an exciting, fast paced environment, you will be involved in scoping, planning, developing and launching technical solutions to support customers and clients. As Product Owner, you are responsible for working with stakeholders to clearly identify and describe features and products to be delivered by the R&D team with the goal of delivering our business strategy. The Product Owner will own the team backlog, and maximizes value for the business. In addition, you will be responsible for understanding the stakeholder requirements, structuring, and documenting them. This role will work closely with the development team and stakeholders across our US and Ireland offices. This role will be temporarily based remotely, due to COVID-19.

 
Responsibilities 

 

  • Gather requirements from all stakeholders for each component of the Netwatch Cratos software. 
  • Develop and manage a transparent prioritization approach based on maximizing return on investment aligned to Netwatch’s overall business priorities. Establish excellent lines of communication to keep stakeholders informed of progress and decisions 
  • Assist internal customers in mapping high-level business requirements to low-level functionality and in identifying issues and opportunities for improvement 
  • Document acceptance criteria, business value and stakeholder information within Azure DevOps for all product backlog items prior to submitting for sprint 
  • Test and evaluate product design with key stakeholders, partners, and customers 
  • Collaborate with the agile team during planning and interact with the Scrum Masters or Team Lead to agree sprint deliverables 
  • Play a significant part in User Acceptance Testing, Regression testing and post Go-Live testing and ensure requirements trackability at each stage   
  • Ensure systems and changes are smoothly transitioned into operation including, supporting documentation and user training  
  • Provide support when working with customers or partners - this could include presenting the product roadmap, running customer focus groups, and demonstrating the products 
  • Work with engineers to identify, track and resolve application issues in a timely manner and assist in root cause analysis. 
  • Bachelors’ Degree, or equivalent experience (preferable) 
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (preferable) 
  • Demonstrates evidence of analytical ability. Strong record of tracking and analysing metrics for product performance, usage, etc 
  • Customer focused, presents confidently 
  • Takes a logical, analytical approach to problem solving and pays close attention to detail 
  • Knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies and processes 
  • Tech-savvy, understands the possibilities and limitations of technology 
  • Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills. 
  • Strong team player; able to work effectively within a team and more broadly with people from a variety of backgrounds and areas across the organisation
