At Deem, the product management team assesses customer and market needs, designs industry-leading solutions, drives features from concept to release, and works cross-functionally to ensure successful product adoption. As a Product Manager, you’ll partner with design, user research, sales and engineering to identify trends in the market, understand traveler needs, and build products that our travelers love.

 

In this role, you will own the roadmap for your team, prioritize our users first and you will get to define the strategy and plans to ship awesome products!

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage product strategies, roadmaps, and project plans
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across design, sales and engineering on product development during the ideation and discovery phases to assess value, scope of effort, usability, and priority of features
  • Create and prioritize detailed product requirements to be used in written specifications, business rules, flows and use cases
  • Deliver customer value iteratively, managing products through planning, development, launch, and follow-up releases
  • Ensure product rollouts are delivered successfully by working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, customer support and engineering
  • Communicate progress, decisions, scope, risks and issues to key stakeholders
  • Develop qualitative and quantitative metrics to help your team measure progress and success
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a PM role focusing on web/app-based products or services. B2C or marketplace experience preferred
  • Strong problem solving, analytic, and decision-making skills
  • Able to interpret data and trends and translate that into an effective strategy
  • Drive to get things done - you love to ship and exhibit tenacity in solving complex problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with and adaptable to change. We work in an innovative fast-growth environment where products and processes evolve rapidly
  • Have an understanding of and an interest in digital technologies, and be able to introduce new and relevant ideas and capabilities
  • Experience working with remote, distributed teams
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, Trello, Figma, etc.
  • Travel industry experience is a plus!
  • Experience with mobile apps and/or PWAs is also a plus
