Product Manager - Infrastructure

About the Role

Are you passionate to help build software and tools that will power outstanding SaaS applications? Do you care deeply about technologies and foundational blocks such as microservices, databases, containers and multi-cloud development and deployment?

As a Product Manager – Infrastructure, you will be closely aligned with technology, business and UX to advance our platform offerings. Your responsibilities will include being responsible for the strategic product vision for the platform and infrastructure layers across the product suite. You will also be expected to craft platform's the vision into a product roadmap and drive the execution of the roadmap. You will be evangelizing the solution to internal and external audiences.

About You

You will drive the product life-cycle from outset to delivery. This includes acting as product owner on one or more scrum teams. The role will see you becoming the subject matter expert on the product for the company and provide domain expertise in support of sales and partner opportunities. You will be collaborating with engineering, cloud operations and UX teams to provide the input needed to guide the product development effort. A Product Manager is expected to develop business cases as needed for major new product initiatives and support the professional services team and partner organisations to help implement the product.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of product management experience or working closely with product managers to translate customer and market needs into product offerings.
  • Demonstrated experience in SaaS applications.

Other Skills

  • Knowledge of SaaS applications and infrastructure components they are built on.
  • Knowledge in one or more areas of - databases, cloud infrastructure, containers, service based architecture and networking protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with server side development, system administration and/or hosting operations is a plus.
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams is a plus.
  • Experience authoring product documentation and presentations.
