Product Development Manager (Modern Device Management)

Job Description:

Leads and provides product development leadership in support of new and existing business opportunities, pricing strategies and financing solutions for multiple products and product lines. Oversees product planning and execution of same throughout the product life cycle for complex engagements. Leads the exploration of product capabilities with team and other senior technical experts to determine product fit within the context of integrated technology solutions. Establishes and manages the standards and guidelines that encourage modularization and reuse; manages and conducts technical product reviews and provides troubleshooting support.

 

Position Description:

  • A leader of DXC’s Modern Device Management services within the Modern Workplace business, responsible for innovating and driving the vision for our customer offers in device lifecycle management of PCs, mobile devices, printers, edge devices, and virtual desktops that increase productivity and user experience for end users and improve business agility.
  • Your focus will be on Microsoft device management and you will be deeply integrated with PC, mobile and virtual devices.
  • Responsibilities include business operations, product strategy, innovation and market differentiation, tactical programs, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction in delivery, engaging with customers, budget and investments, communications, marketing, and technical and partner strategy.
  • The ideal candidate will have technical experience in outsourcing, IT service management, device management, IT security, lifecycle processes, asset management, digital support processes and virtual desktop services. In addition, in depth Microsoft skills are a must, VMWare and Citrix are preferred.
  • You are able work independently, gather, analyze and prioritize customer requirements, understand market trends and work very closely with our partners to turn technology change and challenges into product offers that provide measurable high value to our customers and tremendous user experiences to their end users.

Specific Skills / Experience Needed:

  • 5-10 years experience of IT service design and product management, technical support or consulting for modernizing device management service in enterprises
  • Extensive product knowledge and practical use of Microsoft endpoint technologies with a focus on device management and endpoint security
  • Creative thinker with extensive experience guiding architecture and engineering teams
  • Good financial skills management skills
  • Strong verbal, written communications and strong presentation skills
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Strong mentoring skills to motivate and provide guidance to project teams
