ITContracting are currently seeking applications on behalf of our Irish public sector client for a Performance Test Analyst. This is a permanent position based with our client in Dublin City Centre.

Our client is looking to hire a Performance Test Analyst with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in performance testing. You will have experience in developing a performance test strategy, setting up a performance test environment and introducing practices to enhance and improve the overall software development lifecycle. You must have ISTQB Performance Tester certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a performance test strategy
• Review functional design specifications
• Create test plans, schedule performance tests and report status to Test Manager
• Implement process improvement for performance testing
• Execute and maintain continuous integration of performance tests and evaluating outcome against expected results
• Set up a performance test environment and introduce practices to enhance and improve the overall software development lifecycle
• Design and script performance tests to cover load, stress, soak testing
• Define and prepare test data and ensure environment ready for performance test run

Experience : 3 years

Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 4 Visa to apply.
