We also have IT Hubs in Wrocław with 200 staff and the newly opened Madrid which currently has a headcount of 100 but with ambitious plans to grow to 200.

The Role

Ryanair Labs Graduate Programme is now open for an ambitious graduate to join our Data Analytics department for 12 months as an Operational Research Engineer.

To meet the challenges and demands that will come with this growth, Ryanair Labs is recruiting a number of Computing, IT and Digital Graduates to work in its state of the art headquarters in Swords, Co. Dublin.

Successful applicants will participate in Ryanair Labs Graduate Programme on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be encouraged and given the opportunity to discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to enhance Ryanair’s online customer experience. Please note, only those graduating from 2019 and 2020 will be accepted. This position requires eligibility to work in Ireland on a permanent basis.

Students or Graduates of courses in:

  • Computer Science
  • Mathematics
  • Engineering
  • Artificial Intelligence, etc.
  • Skills in the area of discrete optimization:
    • mixed integer programming (branch and bound etc.)
    • linear programming - simplex method, duality theory, separation oracle, column generation
    • constraint programming
    • local search methods
    • Familiarity with metaheuristics - simulated annealing, ant colony optimization, tabu search
    • Knowledge of monte carlo simulations, network flows, dynamic programming, greedy algorithms
  • Fluent in English
  • Proven problem solver – the ability to come up with unique solutions to unique problems

Additional Qualifications

  • Ability to translate complex problems in layman's terms
  • Comfortable in applying operational research methods
  • Experience applying concepts of graph theorySkills in the area of discrete optimization
