The Mobile Test Automation Engineer will be a part of the Quality Engineering group supporting mobile testing. You will have the opportunity to design and build mobile test automation frameworks and scripts to increase regression testing productivity. You will identify mobile app related issues in the applications and systems and present your findings to the teams in the organization to ensure app quality. You will be exposed to a broader set of problems, understanding customer experience, migrations, new mobile initiatives, improving product performance, and optimizing environments. There will be an opportunity to build test procedures with the latest feasible tools and techniques and establish the test automation process to improve testing productivity. This is a largely cross functional opportunity working with software product, development, architecture, cloud operations and support teams.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Automate the mobile test cases for regression testing and validation of new features.
• Automate UI testing for hybrid mobile, iOS & android native apps using Appium.
• Integrate test cycles with CI/CD pipeline.
• Work creatively and efficiently in troubleshooting and resolution of system issues.
• Document test cases and defects to report in TestRail/JIRA.
• Test script version management using GIT.
• Work with Product Owners, Design Leaders, and Engineering Leads to analyze complex system.
Required Qualifications:
• 2+ years of quality engineering, hands on experience with mobile automation testing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Android and iOS application testing, integration with DevOps pipeline.
• Hands on experience building automation scripts with Appium and JMeter.
• Knowledge of mobile UI testing is highly desired, especially with Angular a huge plus.
Desired Qualifications:
• Development experience in JavaScript; Java and Python; a plus
• Strong experience in API testing and gateway; a plus
