The Mobile Performance Test Engineer will focus on the stability & performance engineering to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability of the Accela mobile products & infrastructure across different product lines and engineering disciplines.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Be accountable for the successful launch and delivery of Accela Mobile Products with Accela Platform Architecture, Product Releases, Gateways, Engineering Initiatives, alignment for Cloud deployments
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Native/Hybrid Mobile based architecture and the key aspects around functionality, scalability, performance & reliability
• Develop mobile performance engineering, load generation, script development, test automation and performance monitoring frameworks
• Utilize open-source tools and develop mobile applications scalable in highly-secure environments
• Collaborate with Platform Architecture, Network, Database, Security and other teams in evaluating performance issues and solutions for the infrastructure
• Understand and build strong CI/CD pipeline activities; a plus

 Required Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of Mobile Performance Testing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related experience
• Experience with Mobile performance testing tools like Appium, Jmeter and monitoring tools - Datadog, Splunk, App Dynamics
• Experience building test automation and automating performance activities
• Experience using Jenkins or other CI/CD tools, Git or other SCM tools
• Ability to collaborate closely with clear communication skills
• Knowledge of SaaS based products is a plus, and Azure is a bonus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced start up like environment with minimum supervision and/or independently within different time zones to support our US teams

Desired Qualifications: 

• Test Automation experience using Robot framework and Python
• Experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure; a plus
• Experience working with API Management tools
