Microsoft Acceleration Lead

Deloitte has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to shape an emerging technology relationship and be part of a strategic and growing practice.

We are looking for someone who excels at building relationships and enjoys bringing strategies to life. They will have the opportunity to establish and nurture executive level relationships with Deloitte and Ecosystems & Alliances leadership, and to operate in a truly international environment and team.

The Microsoft Acceleration Lead will be responsible for designing and executing on the Microsoft growth strategy across NSE (North and South Europe) and to achieve our strategic growth ambition, working in close collaboration with our EMEA Microsoft Technology Relationship Manager and Cloud Transformation teams.

 

Their key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Coordinate development of initial NSE strategy and execution plan
  • Establish NSE governance and the define the target operating model, including the interaction model with Global, NSE and Geo teams
  • Manage collaboration across NSE stakeholders and support the EMEA TRM to drive cross-EMEA alignment e.g. between NSE and DCE
  • Develop geo level targets based on growth lab outputs and align on these with geo leaders
  • Implement operational best practice from the globalising initiative / SAP Borderless e.g. related to sales and delivery excellence (where permissible)
  • Work in close collaboration with the EMEA TRM to maintain an accurate view of the sales pipeline and ensure internal pipeline management cadence is occurring regularly
  • Track progress against the NSE strategy including wins, pipeline, quals, capability growth, training and any other key growth metrics
  • Work with Cloud leadership to develop our delivery centre requirements for Azure
  • Raise awareness cross-NSE of the Microsoft relationship and permissible activities, coordinating targeted initiatives to address independence misconceptions
  • Work with the EMEA TRM to establish the Community of Practice (CoP) and ensure it remains active and relevant

 

The Microsoft Acceleration Lead will also support the EMEA TRM across the following core relationship management activities, with a specific focus on NSE:

  • Establish, manage, and support a meeting cadence to foster strong executive relationships between Deloitte and Microsoft
  • Maintain the strategic relationship plan, coordinating with the NSE Deloitte Lead Relationship Partner and practice leadership to keep an up-to-date view of the business plan highlighting GTM approach, top priorities, our capabilities and financial goals for the relationship
  • Understand and monitor Deloitte’s independence guidelines with regards to attest clients and relationships with attest clients
  • Coordinate with Industry teams to track and drive Industry/sector based GTM plans
  • Establish and maintain clear and consistent relationship reporting
  • Participate in conversations around ecosystem development activities, applicable to the Microsoft technology relationship
  • 5+ years of Consulting or equivalent professional experience
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Experience articulating value proposition for relationship products
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders, including senior level executives, consulting resources, technical teams, and sales representatives
  • Experience translating technical information into business and sales opportunities
  • High proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools
  • Understanding of the competitive Cloud landscape
  • Relationship management or equivalent experience
  • Existing relationships across Deloitte’s Global and NSE Consulting network
  • Ability to navigate complex organisations and connect the right people within each organisation
  • Ability to think strategically, while staying focused on monitoring the progress of action items and bringing them to conclusion within appropriate time frames
  • Ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders
  • Highly organised and self-sufficient, successful with limited direction, upbeat and enthusiastic
  • Strong executive presence, complimented by clear and convincing communication skills to respective client teams through oral, written, and formal presentation mediums
  • Excellent team player.  Effective at sharing and communicating knowledge and supporting teammates in times of increased workload.
