Level 2 Azure Support

Codec are looking for a professional Level 2 Azure Solutions Engineer to join our Azure Cloud Infrastructure team.
We are looking for a client-focused Azure Solutions Engineer who is eager to learn new technologies.
This role provides the perfect balance between freedom and razor-sharp technical delivery. The position is largely office/remote based but will require visiting client locations so we are looking for
an analytical and critical thinker who can apply logic to problems and have strong interpersonal skills. You will engage with Senior Technical Consultants and Practice Leads to achieve the best
outcomes for Customers via complex project delivery.

We provide support to a range of well-known Customers across various industry sectors, and our operating hours are 08:00 – 18:00, Monday – Friday.

The Position:
The role is a blend of higher end technical escalations and project work – both on and offsite. It is a super role for those that enjoy the freedom of working with multiple Customers, R&D and an end to end view on the delivery of projects.
This job is well suited to an analytical and critical thinker with excellent understanding of network design and maintenance who can apply logic to problems, have the patience to find resolutions to
complex issues, and have strong interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will shadow the Senior Technical Consultants (L3’s) on Customer calls to understand their thought process. They will work with the L3 to lay the ground rules for the solution that we are planning to deploy.

• A minimum of 2 years working in a similar role ideally with some onsite experience.
• Strong networking skills with emphasis on network rollout, monitoring e.g. logic monitor
and wireless technologies
• Industry certifications – MCSA, CCNA, Azure Fundamentals – AZ-900
• Experience with the following is desired: Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure and CSP,
AV Solutions, AVD deployments, Intune & Exchange Online, MFA, Backup & Disaster
• Experience with Azure CSP migrations would be beneficial but not essential, as training
will be provided
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to deploy infrastructure as code – scripting experience would be a distinct
• Project delivery experience – ability to work to and assist delivering complex projects
• Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot small issues on their own, implement small
solutions and complete the solution design documents for verification by the Senior
Technical Consultants (L3)
• Complete Customer documentation on appropriate technical templates post meetings
so next actions is clear for the rest of the team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great team player
• Good self-starter
• Relevant 3 years (preferred)
• Technical audit experience (preferred) e.g. Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO etc.
• Full Irish driving license (preferred)
