IT Project Manager

  • Manage multiple global IT customer projects simultaneously in the automotive & technology verticals
  • Provide detailed project planning & workstream allocations for all involved parties.
  • Determine the scope for each IT project and proactively manage the adherence to scope
  • Determine resource requirements for all projects with the appropriate IT workstream owners
  • Determine the Issues / Risks for all projects.
  • Co-ordination of activities with each workstream lead
  • Communicate effectively with all major stakeholders involved in the projects.
  • Provide status level reporting for all active projects
  • Task tracking, Issue tracking, Risk tracking, Budget tracking.
  • Liaise with internal customers and external customers to provide project status reporting and visibility.
  • Manage escalations within the IT Function to ensure timely responses to issue / risks.
  • Facilitate the definition of requirements, acceptance and implementation of IT business solutions to ensure the realization of customer expectations.
  • Liaison/point of contact between operations management and IT (software development, QA, DBA’s & infrastructure teams.)
  • Management, diagnosis and prioritsation of issue logging in conjunction with Business Project Manager.
  • Pro-actively manage risks / issues in advance of occurrence.
  • Manage change control on all active projects.
  • Support continuous process improvement throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
  • Conform to the processes and requirements of the synchronized management system.
  • Achieve effectiveness of the synchronized management system by following the Quality Policy and meeting company objectives.

Degree or equivalent in a relevant business or technical subject

Continuous professional development

Experience of core WMS capabilities and requirements

Software Development Lead or WMS Solution/Delivery Lead

Logistics supply chain design and development knowledge and associated tools and techniques

Professional Project Management Qualification e.g Prince2 / PMI

Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing significant IT projects including site launches

Minimum 5 years in a logistics environment with operational, project management or solution design track record

Ability to travel for critical launch events (customer kick-offs, project go-live, others as required) estimated travel 25%
