Our Dublin based client is looking for an IT Configuration Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Opportunity to join a very well known brand operating on a European level
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the ITAM portfolio with in accordance to cost control, governance, compliance, and the overall of performance against set objectives
- Design, develop and maintain company policies, standard and processes with regards to to Configuration Management
- Hardware and software ownership, accountable for accuracy and efficiency
- Plan and implement IT asset life cycle strategies and policies
- Service Design Coordination (develop process for transitioning new types of IT Assets into Service)
- Liaising with the the Change Management Service department to ensure smooth transition of data relating to change and configuration
- Provide subject matter expertise to Programmes, Projects, Change Management and Solutions and Technical Architects with regards to configuration
- Manage acquisition, deployment, utilization, tracking, security, and final disposition of IT assets.
Experience Required
- Must have 5-6 years’ experience in a similar role managing configuration
- High level of analytical skills with a detailed and structured and approach
- Highly organized person is needed, with the ability to plan for short, medium and long terms projects
- Strong service attitude with the capacity to build long lasting customer relationships
Essential and Desirable Skills
- ITIL accreditation at minimum to Foundation level is essential for this position
- Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills
