About Huawei Ireland Research Center

Our mission is to position Huawei as a recognized technology leader and a global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) solutions. To achieve this we are building an industry-recognized multi-discipline Research Center of experts with focus on medium-term to long-term issues. Huawei Ireland Research Centre (IRC) will work closely with an open innovative ecosystem with Huawei customers to address real-world issues. IRC will also engage with key European universities to build a basic research capability to support Huawei technical projects.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process while ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience to attract the highest quality candidates
• Responsible for building out the strategy and execution plan for recruiting in either: a specific program, across multiple locations, or a specific location, across multiple programs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers and interviewers throughout the hiring process
• Carry out other ad-hoc HR projects as assigned

• University degree; master's degree in human resources-related discipline preferred
• Native Mandarin Speaker and excellent English language skills (Be able to use English as a working language)
• Professional experience as a recruiter; prior experience in conducting recruiting activities in European area preferred
• Experience working in a highly selective hiring environment with technology and/or technical candidates, preferred
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and function independently
• Experience in creating candidate pipelines with a proven track record of hiring success.
• Availability to work full-time internship with possibility of extending a full-time contractor offer
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Have a strong affinity for critical thinking, hands-on execution, problem-solving, and result-orientation
• Good team player, positive attitude, motivated and eager to learn
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
