Role Overview

In the role of Global Security Policy Program Manager, you will be an integral part of the Global Security Center of Excellence within the Office Legal and Administrative Affairs. The aim of the Global Security Policy Program Manager is ensuring Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Global Security Policy and Specification documentation is fit for purpose, regularly reviewed, and appropriately updated.

You’ve worked in IT, Security and have a good understanding of appropriate documentation requirements. You are passionate about security. You are focused on driving policy awareness in alignment with business goals. 

 

Job Description/Primary duties
Maintain company policy and specification documentation in the areas of security policy through annual and ongoing review.
Answer internal customer queries on policy, in doing so identify clarification opportunities in documentation.
Act as an advocate for policy, seeking engagement, and effectively communicating policy changes to key stakeholders.
Identify policy gaps through self-directed research.
Use extensive knowledge of the business and industry to tailor security policy
Operates as a key team member on security teams and advises on methods to improve security processes.

Education and Experience Required: 
3rd level education in Business, Cyber Security, and/or technical areas
Typically 4+ years of relevant experience (cybersecurity, policy management, technical risk, technical program/project management)
Experience with NIST CSF, ISO27001 and/or Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR) a benefit

 

Knowledge and Skills: 
Effective verbal and written communication.
Advanced Cyber and IT security knowledge
Advanced understanding of Cyber and IT security risks, threats and prevention measures
Advanced understanding of security standards and best practices
