ORBCOMM is a leading global provider of industrial Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication solutions that remotely track, monitor and control fixed and mobile assets.

The engineering team based in Galway is responsible for the development of the game-changing fleet management solution which include of a suite of android applications used by drivers. These apps are deployed on Android tablets that are managed using an Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) platform.

We are looking for an EMM Team Lead to the join the engineering team here in Galway. You will lead the EMM team and build a highly automated enrolment, configuration and app install process for new and existing mobile devices using the EMM platform. You should be a quick learner who really enjoys problem solving, with strong ownership skills and a keen interest in managing mobile devices in an enterprise setting. You have a strong desire to automate all the things!

You will:

• Lead and organise the EMM team members to manage all aspects of the EMM platform
• Lead the design, development and maintenance of a highly automated enrolment, configuration and app install process for mobile devices
• Collaborate with Product Development to automate the deployment of ORBCOMM app upgrades on a continuous basis
• Collaborate with Operations to document and maintain an efficient device commissioning process in a manufacturing type environment
• Collaborate with Product Management to validate and approve 3 party apps requested by customers
• Continuously monitor emerging changes in the mobile space to maintain readiness to support new devices and OS versions e.g. new version of Android OS, new mobile device hardware, etc.
• Vendor ownership for our EMM platform provider

What we need to see:

• A Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience in a management or team leadership role
• 2+ years experience managing mobile devices in an enterprise environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience in administrating SOTI MobiControl or another EMM product
• Automation skills
