Digital Product Owner

Your new role 

Power NI is part of the Energia Group. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for assisting the Digital Marketing Manager and marketing colleagues within Power NI Customer Solutions team. 

The key responsibilities are listed but not limited to the below. 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities: 

  •  Manage the development of Power NI’s digital products which is currently a portfolio of several websites and apps. 
  • Conducting research and gathering insights to create a series of prioritised improvements that are aligned with business strategy. 
  • Creating and maintaining a roadmap or proposed features and communicating this to internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Communicating regularly with key stakeholders and managing relationships with agencies. 
  • Applying best practises relevant to the role, including monitoring competitors’ activities. 
  • Implementing digital marketing campaigns relating to the promotion of websites and apps. 
  • Managing one direct report. 
  • Oversee content creation relevant to websites/apps or their promotion. 
  • Own the budget and set of KPIs to be reported on regularly. 
  • Contribute to the Digital Strategy across the Power NI brand. 
  • Regularly analyse and improve the end-to-end customer journey. 
  • Liaise closely with other departments in the business such as Sales, Energy Services and Technology and Innovation to define business objectives and requirements. 
  • Point of contact for the Digital team for websites and app queries. 
  • Involvement in strategic projects across the business as needed. 

 

Essential Criteria: 

  • A minimum of a third level qualification in Marketing/Dev/IT or a similar field.
  • At least 2 years Digital Product Owner experience in a competitive industry. Specifically experience with website/app development, change request tools, prioritisation and roadmap tools/software.
  • Previous experience of creating and reporting on budgets, KPI’s and metrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads under pressure

Desirable Criteria: 

  • Experience of working within the energy industry.
  • Experience in customer journey or experience mapping.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of UX/UI, coding or design experience.
  • Experience in PPC, SEO, Google Analytics, display advertising, Conversion Rate Optimisation, A/B Testing, and media buying.
