Digital Marketing Manager

Cornmarket’s mission is to bring financial wellbeing to our 200,000+ public servant customers. We offer a wide range of products and services to meet our customers’ financial needs at every stage of life, including Financial & Retirement Planning and General Insurance.

 

In summary, the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective delivery of all aspects of online marketing and website management, working with the wider marketing team, IT, business divisions and external agencies.

 

The role has a broad scope that includes but is not limited to: delivery of effective AdWords and social media campaigns for our many insurance and Life products, main owner of the Cornmarket.ie website, its CMS and Google Analytics. 

 

This is a key role in the delivery of the digital marketing strategy to support the company’s growth ambition. This role is a fixed term contract position.

 

Accountabilities of the Role

  • Work closely with the Marketing Director to develop and implement the digital marketing strategy for Cornmarket.
  • Responsible for the effective delivery of the annual digital marketing calendar for multiple products: PPC, SEO, Display Advertising, Paid Social.
  • Manage digital campaigns within budget, complete post campaign analysis and measure return on ad spend.
  • Manage the external search & PPC agency in terms of targets, budgeting and results.
  • Work with wider marketing team in the development of innovative digital campaigns to target various markets and groups.
  • Develop Cornmarket’s reach through social media channels, ensuring creative and content are executed to an excellent standard to maximise customer engagement.
  • Work with in-house developers to manage ongoing website optimisation to enhance Cornmarket’s website to give the best user experience, including e-commerce journeys.
  • Continue to build traffic to Cornmarket.ie and improve conversion rates through e-commerce journeys.
  • Work on cross divisional digital projects, leading the marketing stream.
  • Act as the main owner of Google Analytics for the company, provision and interpretation of relevant online/digital activity & performance data and analytics.
  • With our agency partner, manage SEO, evolving content and functionality on the website to ensure it is optimised for performance.
  • Main owner of the CMS within the organisation.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and benchmark performance.
  • Act as an advocate of online, digital and social within the company.
  • Manage the overall digital marketing budget and allocate spend based on performance and return.
  • Manage one direct report.

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Ideally the successful candidate will have 5+ years in an online marketing environment
  • Project management experience and proven track record of managing/developing website/ecommerce functionality and digital applications
  • Highly competent in analysing data and deriving relevant insights
  • Effective at interacting with technical teams
  • Experience of SEO, PPC, SEM, funnel creation and webmaster tools
  • Experience running and managing digital campaigns and using latest social ad formats
  • Proven success delivering online content strategy
  • Strong track record in building effective partnerships with 3td party agencies



Qualifications

  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Digital Marketing required
  • Specialism in Technology or Digital desirable
