Digital Marketing Executive

Your new role 

  • Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for assisting the Digital Marketing Manager and marketing colleagues within Energia Customer Solutions team. The key responsibilities are listed but not limited to the below. Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
  •  Contribute to the Digital Strategy across the Energia brand specifically for acquiring customers through energia.ie; generating leads for business energy, lighting as a solution, and Connect 360 products; driving online account logins and app downloads. 
  • Day-to-day budget management across B2B and B2C activities relating to content development, website management, digital media, digital advertising production and digital innovation. 
  • Daily interaction with key stakeholders and multiple digital agencies. 
  •  Assist with content creation and brand activities to promote Energia digitally and support ATL and sponsorship activities. 
  • Contribute to the planning and analysis of marketing campaigns throughout the year by using specific analytics to track their progress and success. 
  •  Keep up to date with new technologies within the industry to keep the company to the forefront of the market. 
  •  Managing a team of 2 overseeing social media and content creation. 
  • Regularly analyse and improve the end-to-end customer journey. 
  • Manage and report on KPI’s for the digital marketing area. 
  • Provide weekly and monthly metrics to management and be capable of analysing and making recommendations on same. 
  • Liaise closely with other departments in the business such as Sales, Energy Services and Technology and Innovation to define business objectives and requirements. 
  • Point of contact for the Digital team for campaigns and initiatives across the business. 
  • Involvement in strategic projects across the business as needed. 

 

Essential Criteria: 

  • A third-level qualification in Marketing or a similar field. 
  • At least 2 years Digital Marketing experience in a competitive industry. Specifically, some experience with online advertising and website optimisation. 
  •  Previous experience of managing and reporting on budget, KPI’s and metrics. 
  •  Highly organised with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads under pressure. 
  •  Commercially astute, with a creative approach with the ability to think laterally and innovatively. 

Desirable Criteria: 

  •  Experience of working within the energy industry. 
  •  Experience in customer journey or experience mapping. 
  •  Understanding of the fundamentals of UX/UI. 
  • Bonus points for experience in PPC, SEO, Google Analytics, Display Advertising, Conversion Rate Optimisation, A/B Testing, and media buying.
