Digital Content Manager

We are seeking a highly driven individual with excellent experience in SEO to join our Group Marketing team as a Digital Content Specialist. You will be a key member of a fast moving passionate Marketing team that wants to deliver world class digital experiences.

 

The Digital Content Manager will be responsible for planning and developing strategic optimisation plans for our online content which will drive quality organic traffic. The Content Manager will have the ability to apply industry-standard SEO techniques to our websites (including aib.ie, one of Irelands most visited sites). In this role the holder will work with numerous stakeholders, developing processes for prioritising content updates that will drive user value, improve online visibility and traffic volumes for commercially important search queries. 

 

This role requires the Content specialist to have a keen interest in UX and a deep understanding of the brand. All optimisations for SEO purposes will stay aligned with our brand purpose and will focus on the customer. This role is responsible for the management of our performance in Search Engine Marketing. Delivering not just the activity to drive performance but using data driven insight and technical Search Engine Optimisation to create more value and identify commercial opportunities in search activity.

 

The Digital Content Manager will perform regular technical SEO site audits. Liaising with development team for technical execution. They will perform audits of content, internal backlinks, and other critical SEO factors.  Support editorial activities to ensure that content being created on-site complies with SEO best practices and editorial guidelines.

 

We’re looking for someone who can / has:

  • Develop, share and deliver a SEO strategic roadmap
  • Plan, develop and manage content linked to strategy and commercial goals
  • Conduct keyword research using various tools, monitoring performance and making improvements based on data and SEO trends.
  • Optimise existing content – in a very competitive market this will set the business apart from competitors.
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps in content or areas of improvement.
  • Utilise data to understand SEO performance on core search terms and drive incremental improvements using enterprise SEO processes.
  • A customer first mindset and a keen interest in UX and creating positive customer experiences and journeys

  • 4+ years’ experience in Search Engine Marketing, with a specific specialty in Search Engine Optimisation, UX Design and content creation.
  • Relevant Marketing Degree or Postgrad qualification and/or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent experience in content best practises
  • Experience developing processes for improving content accessibility and the user experience
  • Experience with planning and implementing a SEO strategy for a company focused on driving online leads.
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
  • Experience with common SEO and digital marketing tools.
  • Optimised existing copy and metadata within content and source code using knowledge of successful SEO strategies.
  • Demonstrated an ability to operate between teams to ensure tone of voice and brand standards are maintained.
  • Tracked the impact of SEO content initiatives and communicated these to a range of senior stakeholders.
  • Participated in on-page UX optimizations driven by SEO data.
  • Driven detailed Technical SEO Audits focused on content specific KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
  • A passion to stay informed about news and trends in SEO, UX and online marketing
