Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and automate cloud infrastructure that is secure and scalable
- Collaborate with the software engineering team to define requirements
- Build tools to aid system deployment, monitoring, and analysis
- Troubleshoot problems and implement system & process improvements
- Promote and implement DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Experience Required
- 3+ years’ experience as a DevOps / Cloud Engineer
- Proven track record of building and maintaining cloud infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles
Essential and Desirable Skills
- Programming languages: Java, Groovy, Kotlin
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Spinnaker
- Build tools: Gradle, Maven
- Containerisation: Kubernetes, Docker
- Scripting: Python, Bash
- Cloud: AWS, Azure
- Configuration: Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Git
Educational Requirements
- Third level degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Cloud certifications would be a bonus
