DevOps / Developer Support Engineer

We are currently seeking a talented Developer Support and Operations Engineer to join us as we extend our developer platform and work to scale with our quickly growing development team.   • Work on a cross-functional team to build and improve the ActiveCampaign infrastructure platform and drive a best in class developer experience
  • Work with cloud native stack, built on AWS, leveraging technologies like Kubernetes, Istio and Ambassador API Gateway
  • Collaborate with various cross functional teams like Security, SRE, DataOps and Product Engineering teams
  • Documenting troubleshooting and issue resolution steps
  • Investigating and troubleshooting developer issues, and bringing them to resolution as quickly as possible
  • Tracking and organizing issues for future trend analysis
  • Own and maintain Platform Engineering services such as Ambassador, Envoy and GitLab
  • Participate in planning and stand-up meetings
  • 2+ years experience building software in typed languages (Java, Go, Typescript) or scripting languages (Bash, Python)
  • Go and Bash experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to quickly identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues
  • Understanding of AWS resources (EKS, EC2, IAM, S3) and Kubernetes (deployments and services)
  • Worked with CI/CD tools with an emphasis on building quality code and speed to market
  • GitLab experience a plus
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools
  • Terraform or Pulumi experience a plus
