We're looking for an experienced analytics team player to join our Data Science team.

Elite sport is full of data - think GPS units, shots on target and, sadly, injuries! The Data Science team uses data like this to help our customers understand performance and injury risk. The team works collaboratively with our internal Sports and Performance Science teams and our customers to understand sports greatest challenges, and how/where analytics can provide insight and practical solutions.

We will expect you to:

• Develop analytics concepts from research all the way to product in collaboration with our Engineering, Product, Sports and Performance Science teams
• Be a key contributor to the wider organisation to make Data Science a game changer in elite sport
• Develop our performance intelligence platform

• Up to 2 years experience in a Data Science role
• Strong background in statistics or machine learning
• Experience building models and developing data and analytical pipelines to solve problems
• Solid Python background preferred
• Some software development experience
• Degree/Masters in an appropriate technical discipline
• Ability to get at the heart of a problem by talking to people and understanding their desired outcomes
• Experience communicating complex data science concepts simply to a non-technical, diverse audience
• A track record of high quality research is a bonus
