Role:    

We are currently seeking to hire a number of Data Privacy professionals to join our Risk Consulting team, based in Dublin. We are looking for professionals at Senior Consultant and Manager level, with deep operational and technical data privacy expertise, coupled with strong communication and people management skills, dedicated to becoming leaders in their fields.

Who You Are:

You are a results-oriented, privacy, data and technology native, motivated by utilising data privacy knowledge and technologies, to advise and deliver best of breed data privacy assessments, programmes, strategies and outcomes. You live and breathe data privacy, have a problem-solving mindset and are continuously learning. You likely have a data privacy, cyber, law, technology, consulting or similar academic background. You are hands on and know that attention to detail and accuracy of execution are key to success. Understanding data privacy laws, regulations and personal data is your focus. You will have a strong privacy, risk and regulation mindset, whereby you think in terms of understanding privacy laws and regulations to build robust, future proofed solutions. 

You enjoy working in multi-disciplinary teams, of fellow data privacy, risk and regulatory professionals, data scientists, and business and process SMEs. You understand that delivery is a team sport and work collaboratively to achieve sustainable results, while learning from and mentoring your colleagues. You have a growth mindset and want to be part of a team that is collaborative, innovative, yet confident in high quality delivery.

What you will be doing:

You will be working as part of a wider team, dedicated to helping clients formulate and deliver on their strategic objectives, through the application of best in data privacy methodologies, technologies, frameworks and approaches. You will assess the client personal data and technology landscape, determine optimum solutions, formulate and deliver on an agreed plan. You will be responsible for ensuring data privacy expertise, data privacy governance operating models and data privacy design and implementation solutions. You will support the assessment, design, development and implementation of data privacy related solutions to client functional and industry requirements.

You will be conversant with the continuously changing data privacy and technology landscape to stay at the forefront of your field. You will be responsible for communicating effectively and delivering high quality deliverables to clients and supporting the resolution of any issues in a typically fast paced environment.

Key Technical Skills:

• General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR;
• Deep knowledge in data privacy practices, data handling and data classification;
• Data Governance;
• Demonstrate experience of completing Data Protection Impact Assessments;
• Demonstrate experience in completing data privacy compliance reviews and audits;
• Knowledge/Experience of Third party processor assessments and contract review;
• Knowledge/Experience of Records Management processes and procedures;
• Experience in developing data privacy related policies and procedures;
• Knowledge/Experience of Data flows and records of processing activities; 

Good to have skills:

• Risk and Regulatory background;
• DPO certification or training;
• Legal or IT Security background;
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, 27701
• SOC1 and SOC2
• Knowledge of Data Discovery techniques;
• Knowledge of structured, unstructured and semi-structured data;
• Knowledge and experience in data visualizaton technologies: Power BI, Qlik, Tableau;
• Data Privacy management tools: One Trust, Trust Arc;
• Collibra, Manta;
• AWS, Azure Databases;
