Role     

We are currently seeking to hire a CRM Project Manager to join our Marketing department. Our busy marketing team deals with a wide range of proactive and reactive marketing activities on a daily basis and relies heavily on our CRM & marketing automation platforms to maintain data integrity and deliver integrated marketing campaigns.  As a firm, we need our systems to provide evidence based data that drives business development opportunities.  As a CRM Manager, you will own this space.

 Your role will be varied, and will involve working with marketing colleagues and senior internal stakeholders to identify and define market leading CRM & marketing technology solutions, whilst simultaneously working with our external vendors on the technical delivery of these. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, whilst also having the ability to view projects through a marketing and client focussed lens. They should be able to work with stakeholders to ensure CRM is used as an effective tool for business development, key account management and client engagement. 

Strong interpersonal skills, drive and enthusiasm are a pre-requisite for this role.  In addition, you will be innovative and commercially savvy, with knowledge of how to use CRM as an integral tool for the delivery of marketing and business development objectives. 

We ideally need you to have the following:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a CRM role with 4yrs+ at a senior level
  • Experience in professional services, financial services or a corporate environment
  • Experience in implementing best practice and driving innovation across email and marketing automation platforms
  • Strong technical experience married with an in-depth understanding of front end marketing campaigns 
  • Experience using CRM for key account management, sales pipeline and business development purposes 
  • Ability to translate marketing / business requirements into technical scoping and delivery of strong CRM solutions
  • Ability to design, scope and implement complex processes and initiatives, with key focus on quality solutions, budget management, and on-time delivery
  • Managing relationships and project delivery from external vendors 
  • Understanding of the wider business environment and the impact actions can have on client relationships
  • Proven track record with relationship management and an ability to understand and respond to the needs of internal stakeholders 
  • People management and experience of coaching colleagues to succeed
  • Third level qualification in a related discipline 
  • An open and confident communicator, able to question to understand as well as present views succinctly
  • Excellent and impactful written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail 

 

Your work will be varied. Below will be some of your core responsibilities:

  • Working with the marketing team and senior internal stakeholders to identify, design and implement CRM solutions which meet KPMG’s marketing and business development requirements
  • Maintenance of existing CRM infrastructure to ensure system stability, data quality and continuous improvement in our CRM offering 
  • Keeping abreast of new developments in CRM & innovative marketing solutions to ensure KPMG maintains a cutting edge, best in class approach to CRM 
  • Proactively driving opportunities to ensure business development and key account management opportunities are maximised
  • Utilising CRM in association with other internal systems to develop integrated pipeline and reporting views 
  • Provide support to the marketing team and wider business through CRM training and ad-hoc queries 
  • Forging strong relationships with key personnel in designated sectors and/or functions with a view to providing ongoing strategic direction and support 
  • Acting as the relationship manager with external vendors and leveraging these relationships to drive success across our platforms
  • Building relationships with peers in other KPMG firms and staying abreast of the opportunities, challenges and developments across the wider KPMG network
  • Delivering qualitative and quantitative results on CRM initiatives 
  • Demonstrating innovation and creativity in delivery of CRM solutions
  • Proactively acquiring industry and service line knowledge to enable quality of service to the business
