We are remote optional through April 4, 2022 afterwards this role will be in-office in our Dublin office long-term.

Our Cloud Support Associates/Engineers utilize their exceptional analytical skills and customer service to ensure that MongoDB users are successful with our suite of MongoDB application-layer products. We’re looking for individuals who want to dig into the details of how “big data” and “web-scale” systems are successfully assembled and operated every day by organizations of every size and flavor.

Cloud Support Associates/Engineers are a key part of our elite Technical Services organization that supports MongoDB customers worldwide, with teams in locations including New York, Austin, Palo Alto, Sydney, Delhi, Dublin and Tel Aviv. We are also considering experienced remote workers.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate customer’s technical issues to find solutions, discover and report bugs 
  • Technical troubleshooting, log and server analysis
  • Review and test new features before they are publicly available.
  • Work with customers via our case management system, phone, or video conferencing.
  • Be an advocate for customer’s needs.
  • Gather feedback from customers and redirect it to engineering, product, sales and marketing teams

What are we looking for:

  •  
    • Prior knowledge of either AWS or another Cloud
    • Solid fundamentals in Linux, Networking, and Diagnostics
      • Familiarity with the Linux command line and monitoring tools
    • Fundamental understanding of any of the following database: MongoDB, ElasticSearch, MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB
    • Ability to troubleshoot & diagnose problems
    • Patience, Empathy & a Genuine desire to help people
    • Ability to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and solve problems in real-time
    • Customer-service focus, Collaborative
    • Education qualifications, or, experience in lieu of educational qualifications
