Buyer/ Planner

Buyer– Co Clare – Permanent!

Mid-Level Buyer/Planner required – 3-5 years experience required. 

This position will suit someone looking for a new challenge or to further their career.

Responsbilities

  • Working closely with suppliers to deliver materials as per plan
  • Stock counting and auditing of warehouse locations to ensure the right material is available at the right time for production
  • Analysing current market conditions to ensure pricing is competitive
  • Issue, receive and manage Purchase Orders and Requisitions
  • Adhere to purchasing process to ensure compliance with Company policies
  • Keeping ERP system (EPICOR) supplied with accurate information
  • Adhoc duties (including product pickups in company vehicle) as required
  • Working closely with finance dept to ensure payments are made in a timely manner
  • Experience in a Production / Manufacturing environment required
  • Experience with ERP systems required
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS office suite, particularly MS Excel is required (i.e. creating Pivot Tables and V-lookups)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Flexible and able prioritises actions and ability to communicate across different functions / levels of the business
