We are currently recruiting a BI Tech Lead. as the BI Lead you will manage the team and prioritize projects; you will oversee the technical execution of BI projects encompassing research, design and implementation of data platforms, data pipelines, data models, reports/dashboards and data-driven applications.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Maintains active relationships with all stakeholders to determine business requirements, leads requirements gathering meetings and reviews designs with the business.
- Participates in all phases of the development lifecycle, with significant participation in the data integration design and development, advocating for standardization, reviewing performance results, and preparing for implementations.
- Applies broad knowledge of data integration functions to accurately anticipate system or project impacts.
- Establishes, enhances, implements, enforces, and maintains best practices.
- Develops and defines application scope and objectives and supervises the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications
- Performs technical design reviews and code reviews.
- Responsible for delivery of application technology solutions
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in business intelligence roles, designing and monitoring data models and providing critical insights to business leaders. Multi database and/or multi language (Teradata, Hadoop, DB2, MSSSQL, Flat Files, etc)
- Data fluency: Experience using BI Tools. (Tableau, Looker, Data Studio etc.)
- Agility: You think strategically and bring a nimble approach to everything you do. You know how to roll up your sleeves and get great work done.
- Gusto: Excitement, energy, and strong people skills. Clear communication at all levels.
- Expert skills: In performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting data integration solutions; solid communication, interpersonal, leadership, and collaborative skills and a demonstrated ability for creative problem solving of business and technical challenges
