Automation Project Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Ensure all project deliverables and documentation are complete and of high quality
  • Manage project stakeholders
  • Discuss and report on the project in non-technical terms with the end user.
  • Coordinate resources for the execution of a project
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
  • Measure and report project performance daily and produce a formal bi-weekly project report
  • Work independently and drive the project team to achieve project goals
  • Develop and deliver presentations to all levels of management and stakeholders
  • Identify, address and adequately escalate project risks and issues, in a timely manner
  • Adhere to the Client and / or Zenith project management standards and procedures
  • Liaise with and Manage all external third party stakeholders

Main Requirements

  • The successful candidate should ideally possess a Bachelors or Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems or Computer Science
  • At least 1-10 years' experience in the Automation Project Management role
  • The candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in communicating and collaborating at a variety of levels, coupled with excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Ideally have experience with Bio Pharma IT systems or Bio Pharma Lab IT Systems
  • Excellent organizational, prioritisation and time management skills
  • Good analytical, design and problem solving skills
  • Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to be flexible and to work irregular hours on occasion, e.g. around go-live dates.
  • Familiarity in S88 automation principles and technologies
  • Familiarity with IT Shop floor infrastructure
  • Familiarity with GMP qualification requirements
  • Good communication and documentation (SDLC) skills are key requirements
  • Experience with developing Validation Plans & Test documentation for Automation Systems
  • Ability to co-operate and work well with others in the pursuit of team goals
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
