Associate - IT Resources

Purpose/Essence of the role: Ensure receipt of material, perform day to day hardware and software asset management activities and maintain inventory in order to: ensure effective asset handling, traceability and optimal license utilization and compliance within the limits of the organizational guidelines and strategy

Below are the roles and responsibilities aligned to the above mentioned role / role designation:
 

  1. Incident ,Request And Problem management : Handle IT resource related Incidents, requests -L1 in order to ensure adequate user support and Normalcy in IT Support
  2. Proof-of-Concept, Product & Vendor evaluation, Benchmarking: Ensure proper Receipt of the materials, asset handover and return of material with Relevant documentation for all these in order to meet the business requirement of the organization and effective asset handling during the POC
  3.  Availability & IT Service Continuity, Capacity Management: Review day to day breakdowns and look into relevant escalations and vendor engineers response on day to day IT assets breakdown and ensure optimum response and problem resolution in order to aid Availability and service continuity
  4. Service Level Management and Reporting: Handle service functional SLA; implement scripts and tools to prepare service reports.
  5. Service Desk: Attend to escalated calls from Service Desk.
  6. Change, Release and Configuration Management: Document the changes and CMDB updating, implement forward schedule changes.
  7. Service Improvement: Plan and implement IPSAT action Items and service optimization measures.
  8. Service Analysis and Optimization: Analyze historical data ,Provide inputs/data to managers and suggest Improvement areas in order to aid improved support to user
  9. Phoenix - Program Management and Coordination - Coordinate movement of materials, tapes and participation in DR and BCP activities in order to ensure the availability and continuity
  10. BCMS Tests & Drills : Participate in order to contribute to any assigned BCMS activities
