Asset Services Optional Dividend Elections -Ops Analyst MKTS

Role Description:

The EMEA Asset Services department are responsible for event types relating to equity and fixed income products. This role requires a keen problem solver, who works well to deadlines. Attention to detail and a risk and control awareness is also important. This is an exciting opportunity for any person who wishes to gain exposure to a team which brings real value add to the company and a role which has a high profile within the department. The team service multiple business lines such as proprietary trading desks, stock loan, prime brokerage clients and custody clients. It is a dynamic role with many learning opportunities. Candidates who can demonstrate they have the essential competencies and skillsets along with a good financial background will be considered.

 

Responsibilities Include:
• Collate and interpret information on corporate action events.
• Reconcile positions and accurately process client / trader elections.
• Deadline management - ability to adhere to tight market deadlines.
• Monitor incoming queries to ensure they are answered accurately within agreed SLAs.
• Timely reconciliations and escalation of risk where necessary.
• Maintain risk within the levels set by the management team.
• Client Service - demonstrates ability to provide high levels of client service.
• Timely management of positions and recovery of funds claimed by Bank of America Merrill Lynch from external counterparties and monitoring of outstanding balances.
• Escalation of risk where necessary.
