We have a fantastic opportunity to join our EMEA Asset Services department, here in Dublin, as a Control Manager. The EMEA Asset Services department are responsible for the management of Voluntary and Mandatory Corporate Action events. Dublin Asset Services is a globally aligned function reporting to the Global Head of Asset Services, Brian Morris. The department works closely with colleagues in London, US and Asia Asset Services.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Managing risk routines and reporting/escalating all risk issues.
- Certification of EMEA Asset Services Bank Accounts.
- Maintain authorised signatory lists, payment/approval matrices and system access for the department.
- Collate and respond to requests from Internal/External Audit.
- Oversight of EMEA Asset Services Daily Client Money process, OFAC and Regulatory Reporting.
- Monitor incoming queries to ensure they are answered accurately and on a timely basis.
- Escalation of risk where necessary.
- People management responsibilities; including 1:1s, goal settings and appraisals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Awareness of Financial Impact – an appreciation for the risk impact of actions undertaken
- Displays a high attention to detail and demonstrates ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to quickly learn new processing systems.
- Ability to prioritise heavy workloads and work efficiently under pressure. Plans to ensure deadlines are met.
- Analytical, with excellent reconciliation skills.
- Enthusiastic; with an appetite to learn more.
