Application Support Manager required for an expanding multinational based in south Dublin. The Application Support Manager lead and manage a team of C8 Application Support Engineers that provide support and maintenance and minor dev work on .Net Applications for the global business. This role will be around 75% Management and 25% Technical
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of team of C8 Application Support Engineers covering performance management, retention, reward and recognition etc
- Co-ordinate workload and activities of the team
- Identify and design training needs of team members
- Provide mentoring and guidance for team members
- When needed provide technical support in the resolution of incidents
- Ensure the cross training of team members
- Design and implement technical and operational standards
- 7+ years relevant experience supporting
- 3+ years’ experience managing a team
- Experience of implementing software applications and services using agile methodologies.
- Technical knowledge in C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript etc
- Experience of AWS Cloud.
- Strong troubleshooting stills.
- ITIL foundation certified – desirable
