Accounts Administrators work as part of a team that administer and reconcile client premium payments. The role will be a hybrid role of working in the office (two days per week) and from home.
This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody looking to gain experience working as part of a Finance department within the financial services sector.
Accountabilities of the Role
1) Daily reconciliation incoming premium payments
- Daily reconciliation of credit card receipts
- Daily lodgement of cheques and direct debit mandates
- Liaising with the Personal Insurance department in relation to premium differences
- Issuing monthly statement of account letters to clients
- Contacting and dealing with client queries
2) Refunds to clients
- Preparing and issuing all refunds due to our clients and ensuring all are issued within CPC rules
- Monthly reconciliation of the general out of date cheques
- Contacting and dealing with client queries
3) Direct debit processing
- Ensuring all direct debit amendments are completed on time
- Issuing direct debit confirmation and amendment letters to clients
- Assisting agents in dealing with client’s queries
- Contacting and dealing with client queries
4) Life scheme payment
- Preparing of all insurance company payments for premiums collected
- Preparation of monthly KPI report
- Dealing with queries from underwriters on premium payments
5) Other
- Processing amendments on client’s policies
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Previous administrative or customer service experience essential
- Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent numerical, verbal and written communication skills
- Commercial awareness
- Knowledge of risk control & regulatory environment
