We are looking for interns to work with our AI research team, conducting world-class research in the area of Intelligent Operations and Management of future Autonomous Driving Networks. The AI research team are working on production Datasets in close collaboration with a team of Domain Experts and Software Engineers.
We are looking for interns interested in one or more of the following AI areas:
- Reinforcement Learning
- Dynamic Programming
- Optimal control
- Combinatorial optimisation (exact methods, Meta-heuristics, local search)
- Model predictive control / Rolling horizon procedures
- Currently enrolled in PhD degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience with solving combinatorial optimisation and related problems with LP/ ILP, MILP, Constraint Programming, Dynamic Programming and its approximate Reinforcement Learning forms, Meta-heuristics, Local search.
- Experience with general purpose programming languages: Python or Java.
Preferred qualifications:
- Available to work for 20-40 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months.
- Returning to your degree after completing the internship.
- Relevant work experience, including internships, full time industry experience or as a researcher in a lab.
- Ability to design and execute on research agendas.
- Experience with research communities and/or efforts, including having published papers (being listed as author) at conferences (e.g. IJCAI, AAAI).
