We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced treasury team player to join Elavon Financial Services DAC (“EFS”) Treasury’s Operations team in Dublin.
This role will provide the right person the opportunity to work as part of a strong team of treasury professionals, working in a dynamic environment, with varied responsibilities and the opportunity to work with different business areas and across functions.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of an expanding Treasury team responsible for all Treasury operations functions within the bank.
Responsibilities
- Process settlement activity of the bank including payments, confirmations and queries.
- Monitor and action all incoming SWIFT messaging.
- Provide timely and accurate daily, weekly and month end reporting
- Collaborate in managing all bank account signatories (200+) and bank account mandates with counterparty banks (13).
- Provide support and back up to EFS participation in the TARGET and CHAPS payment schemes including system upgrade and new participant on-boarding testing activities
- Provide support and back up to all Treasury Back office activities and projects
- Ensure Treasury operations are within all regulatory and internal policies of the Bank, including intraday reporting for ILAAP and Wire Transfer Procedures.
- Previous Treasury experience - a distinct advantage
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the day to day functioning of a large Treasury department, including front and middle office activities.
- Understanding of how financial market infrastructure operates.
- Experience in managing large value (€ 5-10 billion) Direct Clearing processes (Target2 / BoE) a distinct advantage.
- Strong IT, payments, SWIFT messaging and banking infrastructure knowledge.
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Strong compliance and procedural focus.
- Strong MS Excel skills required.
