Training & QA Program Manager, Site Policy - Trust and Safety

The Position

Twitter Trust & Safety seeks an experienced, goal-oriented, self-motivated teammate to join our Site  Policy team. If you're organized, analytical, focused, proactive, and have global training management, QA, project management, and tool development experience, we'd very much like to speak to you.

The role will feature the administration of training and QA programs within the global Site Policy team. There will be a specific focus on coordination of onboarding and development training and creating the foundations of a robust QA framework. 

The following are the responsibilities this role will have:

  • This is a dual training and QA role with a split focus on both areas
  • Become familiar with policy and policy enforcement across the Site Policy team
  • Complete full training cycles (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Build, implement and drive modular training programmes across the department
  • Meet with process owners and training facilitators/SMEs to define and create training plans and schedules
  • Evaluate and document training activities and be responsible for ensuring employees receive/complete the required training
  • Assist and guide the development of training material and manuals, and implement various training methods such as workshops, conferences, meetings and demonstrations as needed
  • Establish and scale best practices for delivering of training in partnership with Site Policy Management
  • Coordinate the development of training material and assessments as needed to enable successful implementation and utilization of the process or systems to employees
  • Seek and gather information from management, employees, and other departments regarding the effectiveness of completed training courses, with a goal of constant improvement
  • Measure employee's information retention rates by issuing assessment tests on course materials
  • Continuously evaluate and propose improvements for existing processes and policies, working closely with teammates and SiP management
  • Keep SiP management up-to-speed on progress against project timelines, potential blockers, and other key developments.
  • Develop, implement and scale a QA program, inclusive of a long term strategy vision.

You have:

  • Previous training development or project management training experience
  • Strong organizational experience, with a consistent track record of handling multiple projects to successful completion
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills; can effectively communicate globally with teams and individuals of all levels
  • Excellent business judgment and critical thinking
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; able to achieve results through collaboration with managers and individual contributors within and outside of your team and department

  • An ability to constructively highlight inefficiencies in tools, processes, and workflows to key partners in order to close gaps

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 - 5 years experience as a training coordinator, training facilitator or trainer in a training focused role at a technology company
  • Familiarity with QA frameworks and philosphy 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education / experience
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with various training methodologies, including on-the-job coaching, mentorship programs, and e-learning.

PREFERRED

  • Comfort with JIRA, Confluence, and Salesforce
  • Google Suite knowledge and comfort with reporting interfaces
  • Knowledge of modular training software and QA software
  • Train the trainer qualification
