We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated candidate to join us as a Senior Analyst in the Securities Lending/Global Equity Finance operations team.

The department supports the business front to back, from trade booking, collateral management and more recently Securities Finance Transaction Reporting (SFTR). With transaction reporting new to the business line the support group is in its infancy and this has created an opportunity to join the team during this exciting transformation time.

The team ensures accurate trade bookings and contract compare to facilitate onward life cycle events. This role will interact with all other Securities Lending operations groups in close support of the trading desk as the routines are very interlinked, as such this is an excellent opportunity to deepen knowledge of the Securities Lending business.

Responsibilities:

The individual will be required to complete daily operations process and controls including;

• Trade support, ensuring the timely and accurate booking and amendments to trades
• Maintain accuracy of client portfolio using internal and external comparison tools (Equilend, Pirum)
• Booking of trades to optimise internal inventory usage
• Ensure settlement of priority trades
• Understanding of impact of bookings/settlement on downstream processes (collateral, billing, reporting)
• Escalation of potential risk and exposure to manager in a timely and efficiently manner.
• Involvement in projects for new processes or industry initiatives

• Prior industry experience in either Securities Lending, Settlements, Transaction Reporting or Collateral
• Ability to communicate clearly and precisely in both written and verbal context
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
• Excellent time and priority management skills
• Ability to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving
• Good numerical and computer skills
• Ability to work on own initiative while remaining team focused at all times
• Flexible in attitude and approach
