Excellent opportunity with my client, a global engineering company, based in North Cork. Due to extensive expansion, they are seeking to hire a SQL Server DBA to join the team. You should have expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, supporting all applications and maintaining database engines.
You should be confident in the principles and procedures of Microsoft operations including performance tuning and database optimisations. The database environment also uses Oracle, MySQL, Postgres and Access so some experience in these is useful but not essential.
