Exciting opportunities exist for Systems & Technology Analysts within our R&D department to craft the future of the evolving Networked Society.

 

More specifically, we are evolving the products in our portfolio to be cloud native within a microservices architecture. We are also heavily investing in automation which includes the development of an automation platform. This is to meet the challenges our customers face when managing 5G & 6G networks as they move towards more open network interfaces, ORAN etc.

What you will do

  • Establish requirements & high-level system architecture and solutions to drive product implementation
  • Deliver technical solutions with Product Managers, Product Owners and various stakeholder.
  • Collaborate with our customers to understand and capture their needs.
  • Leading challenging technical discussions and workshops carving out cutting edge technical solutions, using the newest technology stack to realize the use cases for OSS applications.
  • Being part of rapid experimentation of solutions (PoCs), using the latest Cloud technologies.

You will bring

  • Ability to drive technical discussions, analyse & explain technical requirements and problems.
  • Ability to steer new product development. Systems approach and solution mindset is key to this role.
  • Experience in Network Management systems, especially OSS (Operations Support Systems) with an understanding of constituent applications and use cases. Familiarity with system architecture and system design principles.
  • Knowledge of emerging network developments and a desire to learn new skills in areas such as Service and Resource Orchestration, Assurance and Analytics, Network Management.
  • Experience in API Management, Open API, OAuth, OpenID, API Gateway, API Catalogue and API Linting.
  • Experience in developing cloud native based applications using microservice architecture principles which can be deployed on cloud technologies (e.g. VMWare, Redhat OpenShift, AWS, Azure) & container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Familiarity with Opensource initiatives (e.g. CNCF, ONAP, ORAN) and Standards (e.g. ETSI MANO).
  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in software/electronic engineering or related science and technology discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant Software Development experience.
  • Proficiency in one or more languages; including Java & C++, experience in UML is an advantage.
