We provide clients with timely, accurate information and dynamic, web-based tools to effectively manage their financial positions, working capital, payment capabilities and view of their financial supply chain. 

Global Information Warehouse (GIW) is a single, integrated global source for Citi’s Global Customer’s Cash, Trade, and Securities financial transaction and reporting information, both historical and intra-day.

The position is to fulfil a need within the Global Information Warehouse (GIW) GSD (Global Statements Delivery) team. The candidate would be responsible for working with business, technology and operational partners to understand business strategy, requirements and translate these into functional solutions for large data initiatives and programs. Drive and deliver end-2-end solutions to business partners and applications within critical timeline and high quality.

The ideal candidate should be technically astute, well organized, proactive and be comfortable discussing issues with business and technical users at all levels.  He/she requires exceptional communication skills across both technology and the business and will have a high degree of visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Business Analysts play a pivotal role in understand vision and strategy of business partners and stakeholders, their requirements.
• Help the team in building a scalable solution and design of all deliverables in the organization right through initiation phase to the implementation and even the post implementation phase.
• Understating of the Business side, ensuring that the requirements are fully understood and documented, the data and technical design are fit for purpose and issues are analyzed and addressed in a timely manner.
• The ability to work in a high-pressured environment with multiple concurrent programs and teams while meeting delivery timelines with a high degree of client satisfaction and quality is essential.
• Enable teams to production of functional requirements documents, data mapping documents, maintaining end-to-end requirements traceability, and reviewing the test plan and cases as required
• Gather program level business requirements - working with stakeholders to analyze the information and ensure requirements are fully understood.
• Build proven mechanism to analyze existing data flows across a number of branches and processes in GIW, AML and GSD
• Create clear processes and framework for transparent documentation on existing data flows and determine gaps in solution that may impact requirements, also capturing any branch specific or customized logic
• Have experience in Agile development methods and roles such as scrum master.
• Manage high profile stakeholders of all levels with an influential communication, negotiation and agreements to identify cross functional dependencies, data impacts and existing system architecture
• Enable the team in testing cycles (QC and UAT), this includes providing the teams with project documentation, reviewing and approval of all QC documentation, defect remediation and support of UAT and business partner test cycles
• Execute PVT test strategy by working business partners, data owner systems
• Support and ensure handover of new/modified processes to the Operational teams
• Answer queries at all levels and teams on existing GIW/GSD processes
• Ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner and all issues and risks are communicated to the program as appropriate
• Ensure design and control standards are adhered to and managing any open design issues to resolution

Knowledge/Experience:

• Enterprise Data platforms, data solutions, data Warehouse/ETL design and development methodologies knowledge and experience required.
• Exposure in building Payments Data store with multiple source systems, multi-tenant and complex data model, high volume
• Cross-functional IT experience in enterprise application development and interface design is essential.
• Executing complex programs with great understand to business details, stakeholders, partners, vendor
• Must have sound operating knowhow of databases Oracle, ETL (preferable) and Unix
• Financial Markets Background, preferably in relation to Accounts and customer management in Banking
• Experience in managing communications across business and technology stakeholders at varying levels across a medium to large scale enterprise

Skills:

• Background in data products, data solutions, data management and data governance disciplines The candidate should be proficient with RDBMS (Oracle), DWH and ETL, Big data ecosystems
• Non-technical knowledge, experience, and skills (leadership, management, oral, and written communication)
• Excellent planning, organization and prioritization skills to meet ever changing demands of delivery stream
• The candidate will apply internal standards for re-use, architecture, SCM, testing and general best practices
• Agile and project management, SAFe, PMP

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (in Science, Computers, Information Technology or Engineering)
• Overall IT experience in a Sr. BA role with experience on large & complex projects
