Our Senior Data Scientist – Senior Expert will understand complex and critical business problems, formulates integrated analytical approach to mine data sources, employ statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to contribute solving unmet medical needs, discover actionable insights and automate process for reducing effort and time for repeated use. • Use generative ML methods to analyze multi-modal datasets
• Have experience in building generative models
• Have experience in statistics, including Bayesian methods
• Have experience in Causal Inference
• Take a hands-on role and deliver on highly visible multiple projects
• Serve as an ambassador for Novartis Data Science by presenting and publishing articles
• Keep ahead of latest developments in the field and mentor associates

• 3-4 years relevant experience Statistical Programming Data Science Libraries Python, R Source Code management (Git, bitbucket)
• An advanced degree (master’s or doctoral) in a quantitative field including but not limited to Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Astro/Physics, all relevant engineering disciplines
• Two or more years of relevant experience in Machine learning applications/generative methods
• 3+ years of experience in end-to-end analysis for large scale data sets
• Interdisciplinary experience preferred and previous experience in biomedical, biology, bioinformatics, biotech, or healthcare desired
