About this role
Senior Buyer is responsible for providing inputs and executing the procurement plan and activities in BT’s Category Management, Strategic Sourcing & Proc. Business Partnering practice. This role develops and executes procurement frameworks, policies and procedures. This role collaborates with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure procurement competency and deliver value to the BT and its customers
You'll have the following responsibilities
- Communicate and provide education & training on supplier tools & Programmes
- Ensure user access, security and administration rights are kept up to date
- Monitor usage & rebates from Cisco Channel Partner programmes to determine whether full opportunity is being realised
- Compare country performance with each other and competitor peer performance to identify and share best practice
- Ensure all our entities and affiliates are registered correctly on suppliers’ systems
- Challenge Supplier booking information to convert ineligible orders to earn rebate
- Manage & report programme rebate payments to BT
- Analyse & report Distribution activity worldwide
- Analyse Global data to help identify global opportunities (Refresh & Renewals)
- Provides analysis across c.$800m of spend.

- Experts in analysing data used by suppliers to calculate rebates
