Senior Business Systems Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the in-country Business Analysts and users in the elicitation and translation of business requirements into functional and technical requirements for our most complex and challenging initiatives and systems
  • Act as an expert in the functional understanding of the business requirements and solutions within the Galway Campus
  • Guide the quality of project input for other BSAs
  • Be responsible for the development and refinement of functional design documentation using best in class analysis standards, techniques and tools
  • Facilitate functional requirements walkthroughs, resolve ambiguity and respond to team questions
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required

Candidate Qualifications:

Business Knowledge/Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Level 8) / diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in one or more of the following areas (combined)
    • Business Analysis
    • Business Systems Analysis
    • Data Analysis
    • Process Analysis
    • Application Configuration
  • Experience in the Insurance and Life Assurance industry a significant advantage
  • Significant experience in an Agile and/or Dev Ops environments a distinct advantage
  • Experience in SDLC
