About the Role:

This role is primarily responsible for supporting the Claims Services & Solutions business as part of a Business Planning team with one other person.  This team sits within a wider Business Planning, OpEx & Insight team of ten people.  Although these are distinct teams, there is synergy between them and the successful candidate will be required to understand these synergies & develop them further.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration across the Business Planning, OpEx & Insight team as well as with business stakeholders across the wider Claims Services & Solutions team.  The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a strong team ethos and strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Periodical development of Census, Capacity Planning Metrics & India Partner invoicing – ensuring accuracy, timeliness and an ability to identify any trends, variances or anomalies and communicate on these accordingly.
  • Quarterly Business and Financial Forecasting through extensive use of predictive modelling.  These will need to be understood in terms of run rates / cause & effect, prepared accurately and timely and well communicated to senior leadership.
  • Close working relationship with our Business Insight team, ensuring our Business Planning metrics on Daily Dashboard & Monthly Remediation Deck are accurate, timely and trends/variances/anomalies are understood and explained.
  • Close working relationship with our India Partner Management team, ensuring we are aligned on performance metrics & invoicing (volumes/rates/cost) as well as being a supportive business partner to this area as & when they have specific requests.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient/Advanced in MS applications – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio
  • Business Modelling experience
  • Trend & Variance Analysis experience
  • Business &/or Financial Planning / Forecasting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in any of the following areas;
    • Accounting / Finance
    • Project Management
    • Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement
  • Experience in leading people
  • Proficient in Alteryx &/or Tableau
  • Experience in developing CBA’s (Cost Benefit Analysis)
  • Claim Processing experience
