Senior Business Analyst

Due to their continued success our Limerick based client are now recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team.

As Senior Business Analyst the successful candidate will play a key role in the design and implementation of the structures and processes that will facilitate the continued successful growth of our client’s business. The successful candidate  will work with a multi-disciplinary team and assist with the introduction and integration of new IT systems, with a focus on Microsoft SharePoint, Dynamics 365 and Power BI etc.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Studying current business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, reducing complexity and operational inefficiencies, and driving alignment towards the target operating model of global service and support delivery to international business units;
  • Breaking down and analysing these existing business processes in detail to aid redesign towards the target operating model;
  • Documenting existing and proposed workflows within teams, between teams, and between teams and external stakeholders;
  • Devising and implementing new strategies to enhance the efficiency of workflows within teams, between teams, and between teams and external stakeholders;
  • Introducing and integrating new IT systems, with a focus on Microsoft SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate etc. to support the efficient management of workflows within the company;
  • Analysing the company’s performance in the marketplace in which it operates and supporting efforts to optimise its market strategy;
  • Analysing the company’s sales data and targets in order to provide insights that support the development of strategies to ensure that the company’s commercial objectives are met in an optimal manner;
  • Developing metrics and integrating data visualisation systems to enable the tracking of the company’s performance in the marketplace in which it operates;
  • Preparing reports for management to support decision making by management, executive management, and the board of directors
  • Five years minimum of working in a business analyst role
  • Experience working on large projects while also handling day-to-day operational requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience of Lean and Agile methodologies
  • Experience working in the electricity industry desirable
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Dynamics 365
